Believe and Achieve: Raising Aspiration and Ambition for Young People will take place on Wednesday 30 January at the Totally Wicked Stadium and will be attended by several schools from the borough.
During the afternoon there will be a careers fair in which we’d like you to participate, holding a stall and talking to the young attendees about your business, providing information about your sector and an insight into potential routes to employment.
The morning session, which will begin at 9.30am, will comprise workshops and speakers including Eamonn McManus (Chairman of St Helens RFC), Marnie Millard (CEO of Nichols PLC), Steve Roberts (CEO of Communications Plus) and Linzi Prescott (Trustee of the Steve Prescott Foundation).
Ambassadors are people who are looked up to in St Helens and there are many ways in which you can provide your support. One large employer in the borough recently committed to offering all care leavers a job interview – a really practical, business-focused way of supporting young people in life.
If you’d like to be involved in our next event, please email Cathryn White on firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to reserve your stall, as places are limited.
