Vimto maker Nichols has acquired the draught soft drinks arm of Ben Shaws for an undisclosed sum – and forecast that its full year profits will be “significantly ahead” of current expectations.
The Newton-le- Willows soft drinks firm said the buyout brings together the two largest remaining independent branded soft drinks dispense businesses into a single stable.
In a separate trading update, it said the positive momentum from the first half had been maintained, and annual revenues for 2009 were “considerably up on last year”.
