Langtree business centre 80% full
Developer and investor Langtree has reported several new lettings at the centrix@newton serviced office in Newton-le-Willows.
The two-storey 15,000 sq ft building offers 15 small suites suitable for between two and 12 people, as well as conference and meeting facilities.
 
McLaren Construction has taken a four-person office on a one-year lease. The design and construction specialist operates in the commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and hotel sectors taking schemes from inception to completion.
 
David Wheeler, Group Business Development Director of McLaren Construction Ltd said: “The growth of our business has been spectacular, but controlled, and due to a new contract in the locality we decided to add to our network of offices across the country - centrix@newton offered the flexible terms for us to do this.”
 
Himor Group and WR Estates, both companies owned by Will Ainscough, have moved in to centrix@newton. Himor is an investment company with £60m of assets and aspirations to double its portfolio to £120m.
WR Estates owns business parks in Standish and Deeside and intends to grow through acquisition of office and industrial estates.
 
Not-for-profit organisation the Civic Trust Awards has taken a two-person office on a two-year lease. The awards scheme was established in 1959 to recognise the very best in architecture, design, planning, landscape and public art. Awards are given to projects of the highest quality design, but only if they are judged to have made a positive contribution to the local community.
 
Director of Civic Trust Ltd, Malcolm Hankey said: “We looked at numerous offices before deciding to establish ourselves at centrix@newton. The professional appearance and excellent central location close to the motorway network were key factors in making our decision.” 
 
Tooth cell bank Bioeden and cleaning and support service company Integrated Cleaning Management, have taken four-person seven-person offices on a two-year lease respectively.

centrix@newton is located in Newton-le-Willows and has excellent accessibility to the major road networks including the A49, A580, M6 and M62, providing links to both Liverpool and Manchester.
