The market continues to have an increased thirst for hot and cold drinks supplied by Aimia Foods.
The Haydock-based company that supplies leading brand products has seen turnover rise by 42% to more than £71m in two years.
The company serves the retail, vending and wholesale sectors, supplying such brands as Galaxy, Vimto and Nescafé.
In 2008, taxable profits were £2.1m compared with £1.7m in 2007.
“Despite cost pressures on raw materials and utilities, the business has performed well financially and in particular in the area of cash generation.”
The business was started by Gary and Ian Unsworth in 1981, and was bought by drinks firm Nichols in 1986.
The pair stayed on board and piloted a management buy-out in 2004.
In 2005, the business changed its name to Aimia Foods.
