Bold businesses are expanding in St. Helens
A number of small and medium-sized businesses are continuing to expand in St. Helens, despite the current economic climate, claims Bizspace, which operates the Bold Business Centre.
- St. Helens-based Emerald Ceilings & Partitions has found that the key to its continued expansion, during the current economic downturn, is delivering personal service and outstanding quality of workmanship. The company relocated to the Bizspace centre on Bold Lane two years ago and has just expanded within the centre for the third time.
- TerraConsult, an environmental consultancy has also followed the expansion trail. The company started in just one office with four people at the Bold business centre eight years ago and has expanded into its sixth new office at the centre and now employs 36 staff.
The flexibility provided at the Bizspace centre has allowed companies to expand in a cost effective way. Its location has also proved to be a great advantage, within easy commuting distance of Liverpool and Manchester.
Bizspace’s Tamasin Tulloch commented, “We are finding that the current financial climate is fuelling increased demand for flexible workspace, allowing businesses greater freedom to upsize, downsize or even relocate to meet the demands of their market.”
