Vimto in £3.78 million deal
Haydock soft drinks firm Nichols is looking to grab a share of the growing premium juice market after agreeing a multi-million pound acquisition.
The stock market-listed firm said it was acquiring a half share in rival Dayla Liquid Packing, in a deal that will eventually be worth up to £3.78m.
Nichols is best known for selling Vimto, a soft drink which it now exports to 65 countries.
Dayla has built a position in the European market, with leading new product development and aseptic, premium juice manufacturing capabilities.
