HOUSEHOLD goods firm McBride is opening a new factory in St Helens while scaling back its Warrington plant as it overhauls its UK manufacturing base to cope with soaring oil prices.
McBride is taking advantage of St.Helens’ catchment, connectivity and cost benefits by opening a new factory in Lea Green. McBride selected St.Helens after a review of its UK manufacturing capabilities to identify and implement efficiencies in its cost base.
McBride is an established international company, with significant manufacturing operations throughout Europe specialising in private label and contract manufacturing of laundry, household cleaning and personal care products.
With an annual turnover of over £500 million, McBride is the leading provider of private label household and personal care products in Europe.
