St.Helens-based Telecom company swoops to buy rival in £3m deal
St.Helens-based Elite Telecom has acquired rival telecommunications firm GP Telecom in a £3m deal. The acquisition will see Rochdale-based GP join the growing Elite Telecom portfolio, which also includes its European division, Elitetele.SA, based in Madrid. SGP Telecom is a well-established telecoms solutions provider with a client portfolio of over 2,500 customers. The company, which includes Freetime Communications and Gem Communications, will bring additional expertise to the Elite Group, taking the total number of staff to 120.
